The Body in the Bunker

Detective James Thorne thought he had seen it all in his twenty years on the force, but the cold case of the "Bunker Butcher" was the one that got away. Ten years ago, five teenagers went into an abandoned WWII bunker; only four came out, claiming the fifth ran away. Now, a construction crew demolishing the site has found the remains—and the forensic evidence contradicts every witness statement given a decade ago. Dragged back into the investigation, Thorne must crack the pact of silence held by the four survivors, now powerful adults who have everything to lose. The past is digging its way out, one lie at a time.
